Indianapolis, Ind. – The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced on Tuesday that Lewis University senior cross country runner Becky Herbert (Tinley Park, Ill./Andrew) has been named the GLVC Women’s Runner of the Week for the period ending September 28^th.

Herbert placed 25^th overall on the 6K course with a time of 23:50 – three minutes faster than her pace in the 2007 race. Last season, Herbert placed 152^nd overall in the same race. 

Lewis is back in action on Saturday, October 11^th as they will participate in the Border Wars, hosted by SIU-Edwardsville.
