PEORIA, Ill. - Sophomore Kathryn Hague won the college division title with a time of 19:07 at the Bradley Open on Friday afternoon. She ran the 5k course 15 seconds better than the next participant. As a team, the Flyers finished third with 90 points. Right behind Hague was senior Becky Herbert in fourth. She finished the course in 19:32. Freshmen Ashley Lucas and Julie Jarret were next for Lewis, in 21st (21:22) and 24th (21:29) respectively. Sophomore Danielle Thompson ran a 22:14, good for 45th. Sophomore Nicole Koutzas was 53rd (22:33). Illinois Wesleyan took the title with 36 points. Lewis was just short of second as Monmouth took the runners-up spot with 87. Lewis hits the course again next Friday at Ferris State. |
