Flyers To Play In Mizuno Invitational :: Tournament features 30 total teams

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Lewis men’s volleyball will gear up for the 2009 season by participating in the 2008 Mizuno Invitational on Sunday, Nov. 23 . The event, hosted by Loyola-Chicago, will feature MIVA foes Loyola, Ball State and Quincy along with NAIA schools and the best club teams in the region. The Flyers's squad will be split up into two teams.

Matches will be held at the Gentile Center and Alumni Gym on the Loyola-Chicago campus. Spectators are welcome. First serve is at 8 a.m. with matches continuing throughout the day. 24 of the 30 clubs will qualify for tournament play after pool play is finisihed.
