2007-08 Highlights: Appeared in 29 games for the Flyers and averaged a career-best 3.6 points, while knocking down 35.2% of his three-point attempts (25-for-58)...collected a season-best 12 points in a 79-63 victory over Northwood (Dec. 29)...converted a career-high three trifectas and finished with 11 points in a 73-65 win over Olivet Nazarene (Dec. 8). 2006-07 Highlights: Recipient of Lewis' Delahanty Award for academic excellence among student athletes...appeared in 18 games, averaging 5.2 minutes-per-outing...registered season-high eight points at Saint Joseph's (Feb. 3)...scored six points at Illinois State (Dec. 19)...pulled down season-high two rebounds in GLVC tournament against Southern Indiana (Mar. 1). 2005-06 Highlights: Academic All-GLVC, Delahanty Award and a Deans' List student both semesters...appeared in 24 games, while starting one...shot 78.9% from the free throw line, good for second best on the squad...poured in a career-best 13 points, including a pair of treys, four rebounds and three assists vs. Lincoln Christian (Dec. 9)...hit a pair of 3-pointers in 64-62 overtime win vs. Kentucky Wesleyan (Feb. 11). Prep/Personal: Earned three varsity letters for Plainfield Central...finished his career as the Wildcats' career leader in 3-point field goals (121), and finished second on the school's career lists in points (1,200) and assists...as a senior, was the Suburban Prairie Conference Most Valuable Player and Herald News area MVP...averaged 16 points, five rebounds and four assists, helping the Wildcats to a 22-5 record, the conference title and the Lemont Christmas tournament championship...helped propel Plainfield Central to its best-ever record (25-3) and conference, regional and Lemont Christmas tournament crowns his junior season...averaged 15 points, four rebounds and four assists that year and was Herald News all-area first team, conference MVP, Thanksgiving tournament MVP and Lemont Christmas tournament MVP...as a sophomore, averaged 14 points, four rebounds and four assists and was all-conference first team, Herald News all-area second team and Lemont Christmas all-tournament...the team was 21-6 and won the conference crown that season...played six seasons with the Illinois Wolves AAU program...four-year honor roll student...son of Rich and Becky Sharp...finance major. |
